People have probably been making these for years, but I have just recently discovered beer margaritas. They are truly the best margarita ever and so easy you will never go back to premade mixes. They aren’t overly tart or sour, the beer tames them out a bit. I typically use Red Stripe, but that’s just because that’s the beer we usually have in the house. Any kind of beer will do. I can think of no better way to enjoy the beach and a BBQ than with this margarita in your hand. I made a quadruple batch to bring on our Memorial weekend getaway!
I prefer my margaritas on the rocks, but if you like frozen you can blend these up. Just don’t put the whole recipe in the blender at once. The beer will cause it to foam more than normal and leak out of your blender. You are probably going to want to pick up more than one can of limeade, these are that good!
The Best Margarita Ever
Ingredients
- 12oz can limeade concentrate
- 12oz water
- 12oz tequila
- 12oz beer
Directions
In a large pitcher dump the limeade in and measure out the rest of the ingredients using the limeade can as your measuring cup. Stir until combined and enjoy!

I’ve never heard of beer margaritas! I like beer and I like margaritas, so this sounds like the perfect drink for the holiday. I may do lemon instead of lime as preference. Thanks for sharing
Two good things come together to make something great!
I had never heard of a beer-infused margarita until we toured a nearby brewery (Shiner) this weekend. They told us about a margarita you can make with their ruby red grapefruit summer brew. I think you margarita looks GOOD!
Mmm that sounds so good. My husband brews his own beer. I should try these using one of his.
I have never heard of beer going into a rita! I’ve had some strange drinks in my life, and I’ve had plenty of margaritas, but this is new to me. I’ll need to try this!

Yeah for margaritas!
I’m going to have to try these, as others have said I’ve never tried them with beer in it. And with the tragically high temperatures and humidity down here I need a refreshing beverage!
Thanks for stopping by! They are very refreshing. I had a few on the beach this weekend
Leave the water out of them.
