Is your grill still warm? Because this is a recipe you are going to want to try!
It’s not often that my husband prepares the meals and cooks them, but I had a late work day and didn’t want to eat at 9 pm so before leaving the house for the day I set out all the ingredients. He prepared this pork when he got off work and it was on the grill when I walked in the door.
We eat a lot of chicken in this house, but pork tenderloin is another favorite. I stocked up on these back when the Fresh Market had a sale, and sadly these were the last two. Here’s to hoping they run a BOGO pork tenderloin sale again soon.
- 2 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teasponn cinnamon
- 2 pork tenderloins
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Tabasco
- Heat grill to medium high heat.
- Mix spices together to make rub and rub all over pork.
- Sear pork on all sides, about 2 minutes per side. Turn heat down to medium. To keep grill clean put pieces of heavy duty aluminum foil underneath pork. Stir together the glaze mixture and divided evenly among the tenderloins. Pat down on top, it will melt over and form a sauce. Cook about 20-30 minutes until pork is to 155 degrees. Remove from grill, tent with foil, and let sit 5-10 minutes.
